Valentines Day In Bath

To celebrate Valentines Day Warren organised a romantic weekend in Bath. A Spa town in Western England. The town is famous for the ancient roman baths and new Thermal Bath Spa centre. People would travel from all over to 'take the waters' at Bath. They were supposed to have great healing powers (we drank some - tasted gross) We took the train to bath and checked into our Posh Victorian hotel. Warren had then arranged for a massage for the bot of us and a Pedicure for me at a local beautician. We then explored the town centre before having a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant. On Sunday we went to the Spa. It was three levels with a roof top heated pool (you could see across the whole town), a sauna room with 4 sauna each with its own scent and a waterfall in the centre to cool off. The final level was a large pool with jacuzzi area - very relaxing. We then visited the Roman baths and had high tea (very posh) before taking the train home. Very relaxing and romantic weekend.

Squirrels in St James Park

Warrens favourite way to spend a sunday afternoon is by feeding the many squirrels in St James Park (outside the palace). The squirrels are so used to humans that they eat out for your hand!! This is not quite enough for naughty warren - he makes the squirrels work for there food and will only give the nut up when he has picked them up in his hand and lifted them up in the air!!!

SNOW IN LONDON

We have had two beautiful days of snow so far in the city. The streets looked very pretty and clean however the transport system had a heart attack - it took me 3 1/2 hours to get to work!!!! It gets very slipery as the day warms up - with the scar still on my chin from last time I am very careful when I walk!!

Elise and Camilla holiday in London

Elise and Camilla came to London over the new year. Amanda showed them around all of London's main attractions including the Tower of London, London Dungeon, National Portrait Gallery, Trafalgar Square, Soho, Oxford Circus and almost every street on the Monopoly Board. We went Ice Skating on an outside rink, went to Chicago the West End show and did a Jack the Ripper night time tour. New Years Eve was a highlight for the girls (prob because it was the only night they didn't have to sleep on the air mattress). We went to the Ministry of Sound Club and had a great time dancing all night!!!.
