Prague
Prague is a very beautiful city. We stayed for 5 days to celebrate Amandas 25th birthday. We flew in on a saturday and after a brief look around the main shopping street and a delicious Italian dinner we hit the 'biggest niteclub in eastern europe' - Kalory Lazne. It had 5 floors with music ranging from cool house, commercial dance, R'n'B and terrible terrible 80's. Warren got high on Absinthe and loved the laser show!! We had a great night and caught a dodgy taxi (some random guys car) home. The next day we took in the beautiful sights of Charles Bridge and Prague Castle (Prazsky Hrad). The bridge has two towers at either end and on each side 10 m apart are large statues of jesus, saints and religious figues. Lamp posts are spaced out and hawkers selling crafts, paintings and photos fill the sides. We walked the medievil winding streets up to the castle. A large 10th C complex comtaining St Vitis Cathedral, the royal palace, basilica of St George and the Golden Lane (lane of shops and cute houses).
